Artemisa
is a pioneer in the reproduction, documentation and 3D digitization of
artistic and architectonic heritage in Spain. Our principal resource, more than any other, resides in our professionals, their awareness of the needs of each client and to satisfy these, their experience in the application of the most advanced technology. Active contact is maintained with the client throughout the development of our projects. Artemisa is a technological firm based on a number of ongoing research and innovation projects in new 3D technologies and reproduction techniques. Today, we have one of the most complete sets of equipment on the market: • 3D laser digitization 3 laser scanners: two medium and short-range laser scanners, for reproductions and digital archiving; and one long-range scanner, for surveying and large-scale reproductions. • Robot milling An robot milling installation for that is able to create reproductions from 3D models in various materials. • Rapid prototyping 2 rapid prototyping machines, or 3D printers, for small and medium reproductions and models. • 3D software The data are processed with specific software in each case, in order to generate 3D models, modify scales and make the necessary changes to the model, either to reflect hypothetical restoration work or to eliminate non-original additions, etc. • Model pouring A workshop with wide experience in moulded reproductions of sculpture and architectonic pieces, innovating on a daily basis to increase the quality of the moulds and to minimize the costs of each piece. It also has a concrete moulding machine. • Reproduction materials We continuously investigate the application of different materials, such as resins, additives, glass-reinforced concrete and mortars. Artemisa is a spin-off of the R+D Department of CPA -Conservación del Patrimonio Artístico-, a firm with over 20 years experience in the sector.
